Sea Turtle Nesting Season in Mexico Beach
May 1 - October 1
Help keep our sea turtle mommas and babies safe and thriving. Lights out, remove all your belongings from the beach, cover any holes before you leave the beach for the day, don't approach or harass a nesting mama or her nest. Each year we have between 150-200 loggerhead and green turtle nests along our beaches. Help keep our sea turtles thriving and enjoy the wonder of learning more about these special creatures. Go visit the Forgotten Coast Sea Turtle Center open Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:00 - 4:00 pm
